WHEELS IN MOTION YOUTH PROJECT
Monday the 6th of March 2017 saw the launch of East Tyrone Cycling Clubs Wheels in Motion youth Project at Cookstown High School.
The club, through grants, was able to purchase a number of new bicycles for those youth that do not have their own bikes, to have an opportunity to try cycling without having to commit to purchasing a bike initially.
The Project ran on Saturday mornings at Cookstown High School from 10.30am until 12 noon, meeting in front of Coolnafranky House. If the weather is bad the indoor rollers will be used.
A great opportunity to meet new friends, learn bike handing skills, cornering, group riding and slip-streaming - all on a closed circuit.
For ALL ages and abilities - dont hesitate to get in touch for more details. You will be made extremely welcome!!
Unfortunatly this project is on hold following the Covid 19 pandemic, please get in touch for further information
